A man was found dead in the parking lot of a Garland restaurant Thursday evening.
Police say a man eating with friends at a Chili’s located in the 3200 block North President George Bush Turnpike when he went outside to meet someone at about 5 p.m.
Soon after, his body was found in the parking lot. He was transported to a hospital where he died.
Police are not saying how the man was killed. His identity has not been released.
Officers are interviewing witnesses. They said they are not actively searching for anyone at this time.
