Over $1.5M In Cash Seized By DPS During Traffic Stop In Brooks County

A Dallas man is facing charges after being stopped in Brooks County while carrying over one-point-five-million dollars in cash.

A trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety pulled over a tractor-trailer on U.S. Highway 281 in Brooks County last Wednesday.

During the traffic stop, the trooper discovered the money and two handguns hidden inside the trailer. Miguel Martinez-Navarro was booked on money laundering charges following the discovery.
