A 14-year-old Fort Worth girl made more than $2,000 for her pimp during the three weeks he forced her into prostitution in several cities, police records show.
The girl, who recently turned 15, went to a Dallas hospital in May after she was raped. There, she told authorities that she had been forced into prostitution.
Brandon Carraway, 34, of Mesquite was arrested Wednesday on charges of sexual assault, compelling prostitution under 18 and trafficking of persons under 18.
He remains in the Dallas County Jail in lieu of $300,000 bail.
Carraway is accused of raping the girl and selling her for sex in Garland, Longview and Tyler, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
The girl told police that she met Carraway in April while she was walking near a car wash on Malcolm X Boulevard in South Dallas. He took her to a Garland motel where he raped her, the warrant says.
That first night, Carraway sold her three times for $300, records show.
At the motel, she met 22-year-old Jalena Johnson, who bought condoms for the teen to use when she was sold, the warrant says.
Johnson was also arrested Wednesday on a compelling prostitution charge. Her bail has been set at $50,000.
The teenager told police that a second woman took obscene photos of the girl and posted them with online ads for prostitution.
Carraway took the teen and the women who worked for him to Longview and Tyler, where he sold them for sex, records show.
During the three weeks the teen was forced into prostitution, she said she made $2,000 for Carraway.
He never gave her any money, the warrant says.
